Elizabeth Greenway, 1845 This English sampler has a few holes, but they do not affect
the design itself. In the design there are two couples, one on either
side of the house, and two figures at the bottom who appear to be farmers.

Sarah Jacklin Goulsby 1793 This sampler, probably American, is in near perfect condition. "Good Manners, grace and Truth Are Ornaments in Youth". This sampler has been reproduced by Threads of Gold. Design size: 12 3/4 inches high by 8 inches wide. Price $1200.00 | ||
Sarah Munday 1811 Her verse is the Lord's Prayer. This sampler is in perfect condition, the colors are clear and unfaded. This sampler has been reproduced by Threads of Gold. Size of design area: 12 3/4 high by 12 3/8 wide. Price $1600.00 | ||
Ann Emerson This undated silk on linen sampler has cross-stitched and Algerian eye alphabets, as well as scattered heart and diamond motifs and the familiar "Jesus permit" pious verse. A large flower basket, interesting trees and an odd, kiwi-like bird complete the bottom portion of the sampler. The sampler itself (not counting the frame) is 13 inches wide and 15 inches high. Ann Greening This sampler was in the possession of the Museum of Science & Industry, Chicago, but was deaccessioned from their collection because it did not fit in with their mission. The sampler is probably American and is not dated. The sampler has not been reproduced. The sampler itself (not counting the frame) is 7 1/4 inches wide and 12 1/4 inches high. Price: $750.00 | ||
Hannah Deavill - English - 1808 Hannah's sampler is stitched on loosely woven linen which has no holes.
There is a little fading; the dark green has run. This does not detract
from the sampler, which has been conserved and has a new frame. | ||
