Em-li's has the Medieval Angel Stocking collection and the Sampler Stocking collection, both by Mary Beale. The rich designs of the Medieval collection may be cross stitched with DMC or worked in needlepoint with Paternayan yarn. When worked on 30 count linen, the stockings are a decorative 6 1/2 inches long. Sorry to say, the supplies are dwindling and there are only two designs left. The Sampler Stockings are stitched with DMC, the linen suggested is 22 or 25 count. On 25 count linen, the entire stocking including the toe is approximately 10 inches wide by 18 inches long. The first offering is a beautiful collection of Mary's "Pocketbook Needlework" leaflets, originally sent out monthly, then quarterly, to subscribers.
