This is the color portion of the Williamsburg Sampler originally designed in 1988 as a teaching sampler. It may be combined with the whitework sampler "The Williamsburg Whitework Sampler" to make the complete project. The color section, shown here, measures about 4 3/4 by 11 1/2 inches; on 36 count linen it measures about 4 by 9 1/2 inches. The companion pieces may be stitched separately. If combined into one project, the color band precedes the whitework band. The finished design measures about 4 3/4 by 21 inches on 30 count linen. On 36 count linen it measures 4 inches by 17 1/2 inches. Chart: $10.00 |
