Sofie R. Fielder was born April 18, 1818, and probably stitched this sampler at an early age. She stitched her numbers to 100 (except 78) and lots of motifs, especially animals.

Sofie made many mistakes, which have been charted exactly like the original. Her 4's are not consistent and the J was left out of the lower case alphabet.
