| Little is known about
the stitcher of this Pennsylvania 1808 sampler, as she did not sign her
work, but obviously she loved flowers as she included many different kinds
in her sampler. Most striking are the sunflowers she stitched in her border.
This sampler is stitched on 28 count hand-dyed linen with silk floss. Finished size on 28 count linen: 15 1/2” x 17”. Chart: $12.00 |
