This sampler is a reproduction of an antique sampler dated 1717. The model was worked on 32 count summer khaki linen by Wichelt, using Soie d'Alger and Needlepoint, Inc. silks.

Stitches used are mainly reversible stitches. The patterned band of small squares is worked in reversible cross stitch. Illustrated instructions are included.

The stitch count is approximately 150 by 310.
