This charming sampler was reproduced from an old Scandinavian sampler, probably late 19th or early 20th century. It is stitched entirely in cross stitch.

We stitched our model on 36 count cream Edinborough linen, using one color of floss: Weeks Dye Works Aztec Red. Brick might also be used.

Stitch count is 134 by 124. Design size on 36 count - 7 1/2 by 7 inches.
