Mary Green is a sister sampler to Ann Green, done two years earlier. Mary chose to accent her sampler with a lovely wreath cartouche, stitched over one thread. Mary's sampler was stitched on 40 count sandstone from Wichelt.

The original sampler was reproduced and stitched by Carol Sessoms.

The Stitch count is 116 by 123. On 40 count linen, the design size is 5 3/4 by 6 1/2 inches.
