Lola B. Rodon Aconcecion, 1847
A Mexican Sampler

This Mexican sampler was stitched by Lola in 1847. The neutral border and pastel colors in the center give a pleasing effect. The main portion of the design is worked in cross stitch over three threads.

Our sampler was stitched on 36 count cream Edinborough using Needlepoint and Soie d'Alger silks to closely resemble the original. After stitching, it was hand dyed to give it the aged look of the original.

Reproduced and stitched by Jennett Whiteside.

Stitch count is 115 by 321; finished size on 36 count linen is 6 1/2 by 17 inches.

Chart:  $14.00
