The original of this sampler was purchased from a North Carolina dealer who indicated that it was from the Mecklenburg County area, probably near Lincolnton. The strawberry-bordered sampler has several alphabets and a verse on "time." Our sampler was stitched on 32 count Belfast using DMC floss, and was hand dyed after stitching. The stitch count is 156 by 239. On 32 count linen, the design size is approximately 9 3/4 by 15 inches.
