GA - Dutch Sampler 

This sampler was stitched by Gelske Agesdeb in the year 1830. The motifs used throughout the sampler are typical of those found in Dutch samplers. The colors used, a mix of tans and blues, are also typical of Scandinavian needlework.

Our model was stitched on 32 count handdyed Pearl Barley from Lakeside Linens.

The Stitch Count is 290 by 132. Stitched on 32 count linen, the design will be 18 by 8 1/4 inches.

Floss required: Soie d'Alger 3742, 4111, 4243, and Noir; Needlepoint silk 921, 925, 926, and 344.
