Originally stitched on hand spun and handwoven linen 26 threads/inch wide and 30 threads/inch long, the design size was 12 by 27 inches. Our model is stitched on unevenweave Heirloom Natural linen from Norden Crafts, 30 threads/inch wide by 34 threads/inch long, resulting in a design size 10 3/4 by 24 1/4 inches. Since this linen is no longer available, we recommend a while unevenweave linen, which may be hand-dyed if desired.

The Stitch Count is 161 by 410. If stitched on 32 count evenweave, the design would be slightly elongated and would measure approximately 10 by 25 1/2 inches

Floss required: Needlepoint silk 322, 155A, 933, 763, 142, 851, 991, 976, plus Soie d'Alger 5383, 5022, and 2234.
