The model was stitched on 32 count vintage linen using Sampler Threads by The Gentle Art. Conversions are given for Soie d'Alger silk thread. Motifs include the strawberry considered to be Mary's fruit because it is so perfect; the daisy, representing humility; roses, considered the symbol of love; and red carnations, the symbol for a mother's love.
