Christina's sampler is a very good but small example of the band samplers stitched in England in the 1700's. It used very bright colors and a variety of stitches and typical bands. She utilized every inch of her linen, particularly crowding in as many words as possible in the verse bands.

Our model was reproduced and stitched by Jennett Whiteside on 36 count Irish tea linen with silk floss.
