Ruskin Lace & Linen Work
by Elizabeth Prickett

Elizabeth Prickett brings us the fascinating story of the establishment of a new industry in an impoverished section of England. The linen was produced first, and the embellishments now called "Ruskin Lace" developed later. Since this all transpired since 1872, photographs are available to illustrate the beginnings of this industry. The bulk of the book, however, gives very detailed and well illustrated instructions for working the lace.

Soft cover, coil bound, 120 pages.

Book:  $29.95
