This book, originally published in 1913 to encourage little girls to sew, has been reprinted by Lacis. It incorporates full illustrations and full size patterns for doll clothing. Kits for some of the projects are available from Lacis.

As Mary Frances occupied herself trying to sew some doll clothes, the Thimble People came and helped her, teaching her sewing tricks and taking her on an adventurous journey to Thimble Land.
