This book traces the development of needlework and arts at the Lititz, Pennsylvania, Moravian Girls' School between 1800 and 1865. This includes embroidery and cross stitch, but also reverse painting on glass, painting and drawing, ribbon work, and Berlin work.

There are also illustrations of the school, a class photo (1865), and a roster of students through the years.
